English: The lighthouse is situated at the mouth of the Umzimkulu River on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. An 8 meter circular cast iron tower, in use since 1905.
Afrikaans: Die Port Shepstonevuurtoring is 'n 8m hoë ronde gietyster toring, geleë in Port Shepstone by die mond van die Umzimkulurivier aan die suidkus van KwaZulu-Natal. Hierdie vuurtoring was op 10 Maart 1905 geinstalleer
